The TIBF is the most Visited Book Fair in the World

In the closing ceremony of the TIBF, the viceroy of the book fair said, “The TIBF is the most visited book fair with the second largest area in the world.”

Amir Massoud Shahramnia said, “More than 2100 domestic publishers and 550 foreign publishers participated and a total of 500,000 books were presented in the book fair.”

Expressing his pleasure on the way this edition of the book fair was organized, he said, “We are happy to say that a valuable effective step was taken on the path.”

The TIBF viceroy said, “With more than 80,000 sq m. of roofed area, the TIBF is the most visited book fair with the second largest area in the world.”

Shahramnia described the presence and participation of representative from 53 countries as a considerable aspect of the TIBF 2018. “Presence of Serbia, as the Guest of honor, and Tunis, as the Special City Guest, were among the significant features of the TIBF 2018,” he added.

Pleased by organization of dozens of events, meetings and feasts he said, “We are happy to say that this edition was successful.” 

In the end, the viceroy referred to the fat that on the whole, 70 organizations collaborated to hold the book fair and emphasized, “For this book fair, more than 200 meetings with different committees were held.”
