A top Iranian Alim called on state cultural authorities to supply different domestic publications on Islamic and Koranic themes to the Farsi speaking nations neighboring Iran. Hojjat-ol-Islam Muhammad-Reza Naseri asserted that the nations must be supplied with contents that adopt a logical and argumentative approach to Islamic notions.

, delegate of Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei in Charmahal va Bakhtiyari Province issued the call during a talk with Bahman Dorri, Chief Executive of the 24th edition of Tehran International Book Fair, held on the sidelines of the landmark cultural event Thursday.

Naseri said such authentic Islamic supplications as Sahife Sajjadiya, the top-notch supplications of Imam Sajjad, the fourth Shii Imam, must be put on offer for the Farsi speaking neighboring nations, adding that once the nations receive the divinely-inspired work, the grounds would be provided for presentation of such precious publications as Nahj al-Balaqa, the book fair's press office reported Friday.

Nahj-al- Balaqa is an anthology of orations and epistles of Imam Ali (A.S.), the first Shii Imam, delivered or penned during his five-year governance in seventh century A.D.

Bahman Dorri, for his part, welcomed the call and said there was an insatiable taste on the part of the Farsi speaking nations for Iranian publications in general. Also deputy IRI Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance in cultural affairs, Mr. Dorri said a large number of such publications were annually purchased by the nations.
