Registration Period for Participation in the TIBF was Announced

Announcing the registration period for the foreign publishers and their agencies for participation in the TIBF, the head of the Foreign Publishers Committee said, “The registration for them will be commenced from Feb. 27, 2017.”

Davoud Mousaei, the head of the Foreign Publishers Committee in 30th TIBF, notified of the commencement of foreign publishers registration. “Based on the time table for the registration of the publishers who would like to participate in the TIBF, the registration will begin from Monday, Feb. 27, 2017,” he said.

He added, “The deadline for the foreign publishers and their agencies will be Wednesday, Mar. 25, 2017.”

Regarding the registration of some foreign publishers who had proceeded through the pre-registration section of the TIBF Website, he said, “49 publishers had registered in this manner whose data will be transferred to the registration section as soon as the period is started.”

The head of the Foreign Publishers Committee also pointed out to the registration requirements and rules saying, “Based on the directive by the policy council of the TIBF, the agencies of the foreign publisher must have a permit issued by the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance or they have a license issued by the Tehran Publishers and Booksellers Association.”
