Attended by Tonatiuh Romero, the deputy of Mexican Ambassador in Iran, and Asadollah Amraee ‘The Special Programmes of Mexico’ was hold in the International Hall of the 30th TIBF.
In the meeting of ‘The Special Programmes of Mexico’, Tonatiuh Romero pointed out to a series of activities that the Mexican embassy is planning to do. He said, “Among these activities are the Mexican Cultural Week in the cities of Tehran, Isfahan, and Shiraz in which exhibitions titled ‘From Talavera Pottery’, ‘Temoaya Rugs’, Mexican Film Courses and many traditional and contemporary musical events will be held. Poems from outstanding poets of both countries will be read as well.”
Stating that Iran and Mexico both have a rich ancient culture, the deputy of Mexican Ambassador emphasized, “The new international conditions as well as the mutual will of the governments to develop and strengthen the interactions serves as an extraordinary base for the connection of the two countries.”
In the end, congratulating the authorities of the TIBF he said, “I am pleased that within this event, the two ancient cultures of Mexico and Iran can visit each other, know each other and appreciate the richness of cultural aspects of each other.”
