10 int'l friendship groups inspect Tehran International Book Fair

The 24^th edition of Tehran International Book Fair hosts has been hosting 10 different friendship groups who are available in the hall of foreign publishers, the book fair's pres office reported on Thursday.

 

The friendship groups represent countries from the four corners of the world, namely Australia, Italy, New Zealand, Brazil, Nigeria, Serbia, Vietnam, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Sierra Leon, all having taken a space in the international section of the landmark Tehran event.

 

The friendship associations, operating as NGOs, are acting as cultural mediators between a country of origin and the Islamic Republic and offer cultural and art items and titles on behalf of their nations in the book fair's international section.

 

The 24^th edition of the international book fair have also hosted publishers from South Korea, China, Japan, Canada, Britain, France, the USA, Iraq, Syria, Bahrain, Lebanon, Tunisia, and Qatar among others.
