Foreign envoys inspect Tehran International Book Fair

Foreign ambassadors or diplomatic delegates of nine foreign countries inspected the World Book Corner of the 24^th edition of Tehran International Book Fair, the book fair's press office quoted the protocol department as saying Wednesday.

 

The inspections took place on the fifth and sixth day of the 10-day event, the report added.

 

Swiss ambassador to Tehran, French chargé d’affaires in Tehran, German ambassador to Tehran and Serbian ambassador to Tehran and his cultural counselor were among the individuals inspecting the book fair on the sixth day (Tuesday) with the Serbian authorities urging for more IRI-Serbia cultural exchanges after visiting Iran-Serbia Friendship Group pavilion.

 

The fifth day of the landmark event hosted several foreign envoys among others namely Afghan ambassador to Tehran and his accompanying delegation, ambassadors to Tehran of South Korea, Croatia and Armenia and Ukrainian embassy's second counselor in Tehran.
