Dmitry Bak, director of the State Museum of Russia and chairman of the Translation Institute, said that Iran and Russia have many literary and cultural points in common: We can decide on the development and cultural exchange of the two countries towards the selection and translation of Iranian works in Russian and do some common work.
Dmitry Bak, literary critic and director of the State Museum of the history of Russian literature, in an interview with the news headquarters of the thirty-fifth international book fair in Tehran, pointing out that it was the first time he had come to Iran and visited the Tehran Book Fair. He continued: Although I have seen more than 100 book exhibitions in different countries so far, the dimensions of the Tehran Book Fair are truly amazing, and I think the Tehran Book Fair is one of the largest book exhibitions I have ever seen.
I know Hafez and Saadi Very Well
This literary critic, in response to a question about familiarity with contemporary Iranian literature, stated that he is not familiar with contemporary Iranian writers, but at the university, he has become familiar with most of the famous classical Iranian poets and writers, including Hafez and Saadi. He also noted that Iranian and Russian culture and literature are closely related and emphasized the interaction of Iranian and Russian writers. Inviting Iranian Writers to Visit Moscow Exhibition
The director of the Russian State Museum noted that the Russian Book Fair will be held in Moscow in late August and early September, and the Islamic Republic of Iran has a strong presence in the exhibition every year and usually sets up a large booth.
