Two Swiss Books Introduced by the Author and Translator Thursday May 1 at 11 am

After a brief introduction and several words in German by cultural ambassador Christina Fischer, Swiss writer and poet, Mr. Frantz Holler, introduced his German book entitled  “A pair of shoes for a millipede” which has recently been translated into Persian Mr. Ali Abdolahi. Mr. Holler and Mr. Abdolahi then took turns each reading the stories to an exuberant audience in Persian. Mr. Holler’s enthusiasm and love for the literature was contagious and created a warm and friendly atmosphere in this book fair event at the Sarayeh Ahleh Ghalam (Writers House). After the meeting, the audience entreated Mr. Holler to sign several books for them which he did cheerfully. It is noteworthy that these books have been translated and published in complete accordance with international copyright laws.

Among the guests attending this meeting were Mr. Shahneh Tabar (from Candle and Fog Publisher), Mrs. Haeri (from Kia Literary Agency), and Persian/English translator, Ms. Caroline Croskery.
