Spokeswoman lauds TIBF's Afghan designation

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman, Marzieh Afkham has thanked the TIBF authorities for choosing Afghanistan as the special guest of the current edition of Tehran International Book Fair, calling it a well-thought decision.
The senior Iranian diplomat made the remarks in a meeting with the TIBF top managers during a visit to the landmark cultural event.
Afkham said in light of the regional political situation, it was a due decision to designate the eastern Iranian neighbor as special TIBF guest.
The foreign ministry spokeswoman then called the TIBF event as an opportunity for every walk of life in the society.
