Swiss book introduced by its author and Persian translator

At a session held in the International Department of Writers Hall at the 27th TIBF, The Swiss fiction book, ‘A Pair of Shoes for a Millipede' by Frantz Holler translated from German into Persian by Ali Abdollahi was introduced.

After a brief introduction delivered in German by the Swiss cultural attaché to Tehran, Christina Fischer, the Swiss writer and poet, Frantz Holler began to give a description of his 'A Pair of Shoes for a Millipede' fiction book which has recently been translated into Persian by Abdollahi.
Following the session, Holler and Abdollahi took turns each reading the stories to an enthusiastic audience in Persian. Mr. Holler’s fervor for literature was warmly welcomed by the audience as after the meeting, they requested Mr. Holler to sign several books for them which he did cheerfully.
It is noteworthy to point out that these books have been translated and published in complete accordance with international copyright laws.
Among the guests attending this meeting were Mr. Shahneh Tabar (from Candle and Fog Publishing Institute), Mrs. Haeri (from Kia Literary Agency), and Persian/English translator, Ms. Caroline Croskery.
