Firuz Zonuzi Jalali reckoned that the statement of Iranian authors must be granted so fine a vehicle of expression that it could be exported overseas, so that we cut the one-sided trend of cultural imports.
The renowned Iranian author said the involvement of foreign authors and publishers in Tehran Book Fair had provided a golden opportunity for us to make them acquainted with Iranian publications, noting that some countries even have not heard of our literature.
He also urged staging of more panels on literary criticism, adding that the panels must also grow more professional in content.
Zonuzi invited awarded writers and authors of best-sellers in Iran to join the book fair's literary panels as a moral booster for their enthusiastic audience, adding that the panels would provide a place for exchange of fine authorship experiences.
