IRI publishers, int’l counterparts to exchange experiences, review business

A book-marketing section called ‘World Book Corner’ will be staged for tenth time in the 25th edition of Tehran International Book Fair (TIBF) with a view to present top Iranian works to foreign publishers and provide Iranian publishers with opportunities to meet with their foreign counterparts and exchange experiences.

The business corner will open in the international section of the landmark cultural event, according to the TIBF press office.

The section has proved essential as some Iranian publishers who have yet to have a chance to visit foreign book fairs overseas would find an opportunity in the business section to get familiar with major book markets overseas, including Bologna and Frankfurt book fairs, and have business talks with their foreign counterparts.

The TIBF business section is assigned to hold panel discussions on related themes, stage tours of European publication industry and support Iranian publishers and illustrators in business contracts and copyright affairs.
