Precious Iranian works to be exhibited in Newdelhi World Book Fair

The 21st New Delhi World Book Fair (NDWBF) will open on February 4, 2013. As a representative of Tehran International Book Fair, the book fair will be attended by Iranian Cultural Fairs Institute (ICFI) which will display precious Iranian works.
IBNA: The Managing Director of Iranian Cultural Fairs Institute (ICFI) said: “During the upcoming edition of NDWBF, we would like to present books based on the needs of Indians.” 

Mohammad Azimi added: “Iran and India enjoy great cultural and religious commonalities. Our pavilion will exhibit books which are themed on such common features.” 

The 21st New Delhi World Book Fair, which will wrap up on February 10, will host lovers of books and reading, he said and added: “Since the Indians like Persian, during the 2013 edition we will present books which present the language particularly in the fields of poetry, literature, novel, religion as well as children’s literature.” 

He moreover talked about Iran’s participation in the 44th Cairo International Book Fair saying: “Iranian Cultural Fairs Institute has sent the registration forms to the book fair’s officials and organizers but we have received a reply yet.” 

Receiving a positive response, for the first time- as the representative of Tehran International Book Fair -we will attend the 44th Cairo International Book Fair, he added. 

In order to attend the 44th Cairo International Book Fair, we have corresponded with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, for them to pursue the matter, he added. 

Attending the 44th Cairo International Book Fair will pave the ways for cultural interaction and introduction of Iran’s publication. The people of Cairo are keen to learn about the Islamic Iran. Accordingly we will try to present books which indicate the development of Iran’s progresses and science in the fields of arts, literature and culture, Azimi added.
 
Moreover during the international Cairo book fair we will try to pave to ways for the communication of Egyptian and Iranian publishers and writers, he noted. 

A great part of Iran’s pavilion will display Arabic books while books related to religious and academic fields will be exhibited as well, The Managing Director of Iranian Cultural Fairs Institute added. 

Iran will attend the 44th Cairo International Book Fair (CIBF) - 23 Jan–5 Feb 2013- in order to introduce its culture as well as rich Iranian-Islamic civilization. 

Azimi finally said that ICFI has so far attended the international book fairs of Moscow, Istanbul and Frankfurt.
