Jannati: Light of scientific gatherings attracts millions a year

IBNA- The Iranian Minister of Culture Ali Jannati said at the opening ceremony of Tehran International Book Fair today that this event is a national gathering hall where the government and nation find mutual ways of compassion.”
According to IBNA correspondent, in the opening ceremony of the 28th of Tehran International Book Fair, the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance stated: “We thank God that today, more than any other time, Tehran International Book Fair is shining domestically and internationally.”
“This is where the skills and experiences of authors, translators and those active in the field of publishing industry is revealed. The light of this scientific gathering attracts millions of people to itself every year. This is where culture lovers and thinkers come together directly and benefit from each other’s experiences,”
Pointing out that Tehran Book Fair helps in developing the public culture as well as playing a significant role in improving the level of the culture of the country, he said: “Fortunately, Tehran Book Fair has become a great cultural event and the government attempts to provide its best to enrich it.”
Jannati also added: “To hold this exhibition, more than 70 agencies, institutions and organizations such as municipalities, the Ministry of Science, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Energy have cooperated.”
