Emphasis on Collaboration between Iran and France for Translation of Literary Works It was pursued in Paris Book Fair

Concurrent with the presence of Iran in the 38th edition of the Paris Book Fair, in a meeting attended by the representative of the Secretariat of the Iranian Translation Grant Project with the manager of the French Grant Project, Laurence Risson, collaboration between the two countries was emphasized.
According to a report by the Public Relations Department of the ICFI, on the second day of the Paris Book Fair, the representative of the Secretariat of the Iranian Translation Grant Project in a meeting with Laurence Risson, the manager of the French grant project, also known as Bureau international de l'édition française, emphasized collaboration between Iran and France for translation of literary works and supporting such measures through grant projects. 
Delighted by the outlined topics, Laurence Risson evaluated the Iranian Translation Grant Project as an effective move to encourage the French publishers to translate and publish books from Iran. Pointing out that this project can pave the way for collaboration between publishers, writers and translators more than before, she hoped that the French publishers get a better idea of the books published in Iran by participating in the TIBF.
