At the 36th Tehran International Book Fair, the Yemen pavilion stands out with its diverse cultural programs, including the distribution of Palestinian keffiyehs and serving of traditional Arabic coffee.

According to the fair’s press center, Yemen’s booth this year features around 167 book titles covering cultural, historical, and social topics, playing an active role in the event. One of its special programs is the gift of Palestinian keffiyehs to visitors, symbolizing solidarity with the people of Palestine and Gaza.

Additionally, documentaries showcasing Yemen’s lush nature, mountainous regions, and diverse geography are screened to introduce visitors to the beauty and characteristics of the country. Arabic coffee is also served, with explanations provided about its history, preparation methods, and unique qualities.

The aim of these initiatives is to promote Yemeni culture and convey its cultural values to the Iranian audience. Yemen’s booth welcomes visitors daily with various cultural activities throughout the fair.

The 36th Tehran International Book Fair, held under the slogan “Let’s Read for Iran,” began on May 6 and will continue until May 16, 2025, at the Imam Khomeini Mosalla. In parallel with the in-person event, the virtual section of the fair is also accessible for online book purchases via the platform book.icfi.i
