Pink Cloud Unveiled Thursday May 1 at 2pm

Sarayeh Ahleh Ghalam (Writers House) sponsored a roundtable presentation for the unveiling of Pink Cloud a collection of short personal stories, by Alireza Mahmoudi Iranmehr on the author’s birthday, Thursday May 1 at 2pm. Mr. Iranmehr, Ms. Lili Haeri (of Kia Literary Agency), Persian/English translators Ms. Yassaman Sangi and Ms. Caroline Croskery, and Mr. Afshin Shahneh Tabar of Candle and Fog Publishing (publisher of Pink Cloud) talked about the publication of Pink Cloud in 2013 at the Frankfurt International Book Fair. The discussion then turned to the challenges translators face in preserving the original tone and voice of authors in general. Today’s unveiling was a second birthday for the book in the homeland of the author.
