Renowned Filmmaker: Tehran Book Fair more impressive than other festivals

Farajolah Selahshour, director of the landmark television series "Josef, the Messenger" described Tehran Book Fair as more significant and more effective than other national cultural festivals and events.

 
The filmmaker went on to say that the book fair was also the most important cultural event in Iran, not sparing its annual schedule even for once.
 
"I consider the fair as most significant and effective than any other cultural events" in the country, he said.
 
Selahshour expressed delight that the book fair was undergoing an eye-catching expansion in terms of quality and diversity.
 
He said owing to a sizeable publicity works and a subsequent wide enthusiasm, many people are involved in the event or driven to inspect it.
 
The director called the book fair a fruitful opportunity for publishers, library curators and book-loving people, adding that the event was a venue for a genuine dramatic competition between publishers who place their cultural products on stalls in the yes of people.
 
"That's really spectacular," he reckoned.
