Russian publisher surprised at an orderly Tehran Book Fair albeit packed with visitors

Esenkin Boris, executive of a pavilion set up by major Russian publisher Biblo Globus was surprised that Tehran International Book Fair was operating smoothly despite being packed with hundreds of thousands of visitors.
He expressed his surprise during an inspection to pavilion of Iran Cultural Fairs Institute (ICFI) in charge of the book fair's operations where he held a talk with Ebad Reza Eslami, director of financial affairs in Tehran book fair and caretaker of the ICFI.
Boris described Biblo Globus publisher as owner of one of the largest book shops in Russia with 200,000 volumes of book and communications with a majority of countries.
He said it was a debut show for his publication in the book fair, adding that he and his colleagues were surprised at the extend of enthusiasm Iranian visitors had shown for acquisition of Russian language and literature.
"Surely we will make more preparations for the next edition of the book fair," he vowed.
Ebad Reza Eslami, for hispart, said the ICFI was ready for cooperation with the Russian side in translating Persian works into Russian and vice versa, with the publications of Iran-based Teka publishers top on translating agenda.
The two parties also agreed to follow up on the talks in the next edition of Moscow book fair, slated for September.
