The Minister of Culture noted however that while the publishing sector was in dire need of a translation movement, Iran's translation service could not afford to take the sole charge of such a movement and rather a concerted action was essential.
The Minister went on to say that English and Arabic which are traditionally known by Iranians as most applicable foreign languages, are not sole targets in such a rendition mission and rather the publications should be rendered into world's lingua francas.
Due planning and necessary facilities are in place for the mission launch, Husseini said.
The Minister noted that Iran-based Organization of Islamic Culture and Communications will take charge of the mission in coordination with Iran's cultural centers overseas.
"Iranian poets, authors and men of letter are little known to the world," the Minister said, adding that his ministry has hunkered down to fix the shortfall and will sponsor the gigantic project.
