An Iranian translator called Tehran Book Fair as more flamboyant than its counterparts overseas in terms of number of visitors.

Kayhan Bahmani, who also instructs literature, said leading and largest book fairs in the world, even with all utilities at hand, could never absorb visitors as much as Tehran International Book Fair.
The English translator linked the volume of visitors to an aptitude on the part of the Iranian people for reading.
Bahmani then shifted to case of translation into foreign and said that more time and effort was needed when literary texts are to be transferred into other languages from Persian than a reverse job.

In the same regard, he noted that once sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Iranian translators might be further heartened to take on the job and promote written Iranian masterpieces in an international stage
