Postal Service operates 16,000 book shipments

Branches of the Postal Service in Tehran has received or dispatched more than 16 thousand intercity shipments in the first five days of the 10-day Tehran International Book Fair event, an official in charge of book fair's facilities said.
Sayyid Ahmad Mousawi, director of committee in charge of welfare facilities, said District 15 postal station has been running three postal offices in the fairground which have collectively operated over 250 city-bound and over 16,000 intercity shipments during the five day period.
In the same period, a carrier service established in the fairground has shipped over 2,000 volumes of publications to destinations inside the capital, the official added.
