Laleh Eftekhari, a lawmaker and member of cultural commission in the Iranian parliament urged relevant authorities to exhaust all cultural and economic capacities available to state bodies for the purpose of promotion of Iranian culture in international stage.

Interviewed by the press office of the 23rd Tehran International Book Fair, the lawmaker said Iranian and Islamic culture was readily presentable overseas, adding that novels, memoirs, pedagogical texts, plays and screenplays are among conduits at hand for presenting the culture to a global audience.
Eftekhari said it behooved Iran's cultural houses abroad to promote Persian language in other countries and offer Persian courses to foreign nationals.

In the same regard, she recommended authorities have experts compile special texts and course books on learning and teaching Persian as well as a rich Iranian-Islamic culture, adding that the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance was expected to sponsor such drive after getting advice from Iran's cultural attachés.
