Up to 500 foreign guests join 24th Tehran book fair

The 24^th edition of the Tehran International Book Fair has been accorded a rare welcome from other countries with up to 500 foreign guests joining the major cultural event.

 

The foreign guests would be at hand at the international section and enliven the already shining international aspect of the book event, according to the book fair's press office.

 

67 nations have put their titles on stalls in the 24^th TIBF event with 37 countries having set up their own independent pavilions and the rest delegating their showmanship mission to others.

 

Egypt, unlike massive internal challenges facing the country, has decided not to lose the international opportunity ands instead grasp the show for active exchanges with other nations.

 

24^th International Tehran Book Fair opened in Tehran on May 3 and will run until May 14.
