Dean of Kufa College describes Tehran book fair as peerless

A 120-strong Iraqi delegation arrived in Tehran to inspect the 24th edition of Tehran International Book Fair (TIBF) underway in the compound of Imam Khomeini Mosalla (grand mosque) north of Tehran.

 

The delegation was made up of college deans, university professors and members of parliament, according to the book fair's press office.

 

Ebtesam al-Madani, Dean of Kufa College told the press office on the sidelines of the inspection that Iran had always been on the vanguard of different cultural spheres by having something anew to offer to world at any time and that was the best of cultural accomplishments a nation can made.

 

The Iraqi professor said he had already visited many book fairs in different countries worldwide however no other book fair can afford to catch up with the Tehran based event neither in terms of area nor in innovation.

 

The Iraqi personality maintained that the best way to establish cultural relations among different nations was to promote the culture of study and book reading.
