French publishers have put up to 400 titles on their stalls in France pavilion located in the hall of foreign publishers in the compound of the 24th Tehran International Book Fair in Imam Khomeini Mosalla (grand mosque) north of Tehran.
Negin Negahban, curator of France pavilion told the book fair's press office Thursday that the titles on offer in the pavilion were only for show purposes and that would-be applicants shall register a book sales order and shall receive their ordered titles after the end of the book fair.
Unlike previous editions where titles in Arabic were also put in the lineup of France pavilion, the present edition was hosting a French-only book show save one single book titled "The Rogue Soul" which has been printed and published in France, according to the curator, who described the non-French title as a photo collection by the renowned Iranian photojournalist, Reza with a them on the daily life of Afghan people.
France pavilion has been set up upon a joint initiative by Association of French International Publishers and the French Embassy in Tehran.
The titles on stands either are children books, glossaries, or novels or deal with social sciences, all carrying an edition date
