Representative of a major Lebanese publisher described Tehran International Book Fair as exceptional in the
Muhammad Khalifa, who was representing "Dar-ol Wila" (House of Shii Imams) publication in the 24th edition of the book fair was speaking to Iran Book News Agency (IBNA) Friday on the sidelines of the landmark cultural event.
The Lebanese personality described the Iranian nation as a cultured nation which harbors a lover for study and book reading.
Mr. Khalifa said the Islamic Republic of Iran was on the vanguard of university and seminarian studies in the region and urged for further cooperation among the publication bodies and centers of those regional countries which enjoy bilateral, friendly ties.
Asked about the type and content of publications the Iranian visitors were more compelled to browse or buy in the "Dar-ol Wila" pavilion, the Lebanese said titles on religious studies were more browsed or bought in the pavilion, particularly by students of Howza or schools of religious studies.
