Foreign publishers may apply for visas to the end of TIBF

Up to 300 visas have already been issued for foreign publishers or guests of the 25th edition of Tehran International Book Fair (TIBF), according to director of visa department in the TIBF office.
Regular procedures to process visa applications will start soon after foreign publishers or guests place an application, Ayoub Dehqankar told the press office of the 25th edition of the landmark cultural event, adding that TIBF international section procures the visa process in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Visas are totally processed inside the Islamic Republic of Iran so that the applicant publishers or guests are only going to have to visit IRI embassies in their respective countries to collect their endorsement, the TIBF visa director added.
Mr. Dehqankar said visa applications would be processed to the end of the book fair period for any publishers willing to inspect the international event or those publishers who wish to modify their inventories.
