How much a space in TIBF international section may cost

The TIBF office in charge of the international section in a statement Friday made public the range of costs a foreign publisher may incur in securing a space in the 25th edition of Tehran International Book Fair (TIBF).

A guide to rules and regulations of the international section sets different prices for different booths or pavilions in the international section, TIBF press office reported.

According to the guide, a square meter of area in the international sales section where sales are made on foreign currencies costs 220 Euros while warehouse area for the section costs 190 Euros a square meter. Other exhibition pavilions and booths delivered to foreign publishers or international bodies cost 110 Euros a square meter.

An exhibition booth in the electronic publication marquee costs 50 Euros a square meter while similar areas in the World Book Corner (where Iranian and foreign publishers exchange contracts) costs 30 Euros a square meter, according to the statement.

A space in the direct sales section could be secured by paying 80 Euros a square meter, the statement added.

A 5 percent tax may also be collected from the applicants, the statement said, adding however that special deductions had been stipulated in the guide for the applicants.
