TIBF to transfer space of absent publishers in int’l section to other applicants

TIBF authorities decided Friday to transfer the empty booths of absent foreign publishers to reserved applicants, according to the TIBF press office.

The decision was taken in partial response to a larger than expected number of foreign applications was given to the TIBF management department before and after the advent of the 25th edition of Tehran International Book Fair.

Under the decision, the pavilions of those foreign publishers that have already quitted or fail to join before the third day of the 10-day international event will be transferred to other foreign applicants based on an inventory of reserved applications.

Applications still keep flowing in the TIBF management office from oversea, the TIBF press office said.

Tehran International Book Fair runs until May 12.
