Farhang Moaser represents French publishers in 25th TIBF event

Farhang Moaser publishing company represents several French publishers, including Hachette and Didier, in the 25th edition of Tehran International Book Fair (TIBF), Iran Book News Agency (IBNA) reported on Saturday.
The Iranian publisher that have secured an exhibition space both in domestic and international sections offers latest publications of French publishers after French embassy’s representatives failed to join the landmark international event.
The publishing company has represented the absent French publishers for the past few years.
Generally acclaimed as an illustrious Iranian publisher, Farhang Moaser has put on exhibition stands a range of monolingual and bilingual works in Persian and English in the hall of domestic Iranian publishers while displaying latest publications of several French publishers in the international section.
Hachette and Didier are mostly engaged in non-academic publications, including narrative literature and children’s literature.
French language publications on display in Farhang Moaser pavilions deal with a range of domains, including children’s books, classic novels, architecture, history of France, latest versions of different methods of French language teaching at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels, different dictionaries. There is also an anthology of French poetry in seventeenth century, titled “Antholgie de la poesie francaise du XVIIe Siecle.”
The 25th edition of Tehran International Book Fair opened in Imam Khomeini Mosalla (Grand Mosque), north of Tehran on May 1, under the motto of “a quarter of century of cultural Jihad” in reference to past editions the international cultural event. It runs until May 12.
