Inspectors describe “quarter of century” section as pearl of 25th TIBF event

Inspectors to the 25th edition of Tehran International Book Fair (TIBF) have described the special TIBF section of “a quarter of century of cultural Jihad (campaign)” as pearl of the current edition of the landmark international event, the TIBF press office reported Saturday.

The ad hoc section, credited by many eminent personalities as an outstanding feature of the 25th edition of the book fair, aims to review the performance and records of the past editions of the book fair the first edition of which staged in November 1987.

The section exhibits records and documents of the past editions, including the publicity posters of past editions of the book fair accompanied by a brief introduction for each. There are also charts and diagrams on the walls of the section showing records and performance of past editions.

A corner of the exhibition deals with the views of the Islamic Revolution Leader, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei concerning Tehran International Book Fair while in another corner, the sideline events and programs of past editions as well as a brief history of every edition are on display.

Top publishers of different TIBF editions have been introduced in yet another corner. There is also a photo gallery in the section.

Outside the gorgeously adorned hall, a monument has been erected depicting Simorq as the symbol of ascension of book in the 25th edition of the landmark cultural event.
