Scores of Lebanese publishers join 25th TIBF event

Scores of Lebanese publishers have joined the international section of the 25th edition of Tehran International Book Fair (TIBF).
Of up to 1,600 publishers on hand from 77 countries in the international section, up to 50 polishers represent Lebanon, according to the book fair’s press office.
Lebanese al-Matbouat Company, with up to 1,300 titles on stalls represents seven other Lebanese publishers, namely Dar-al Baqi, al-Arabiya lel-Oloum, al-Ahliya, al-Jadwal, al-Mawarith, al-Forqa, and Dar ot-Tali’a while Lebanese Iblaq Institute with up to 700 titles on stands represents six other Lebanese publishers, namely Dar al-Oloum, Dar al-Ara, Dar az-Zahra, Dar as-Satouni, Dar al-Mortaza, and al-Eini Center.
Iranian Khadamat Danesh Katibeh Company with up to 1,000 titles on stands represents six Lebanese publishers, namely Dar al-Mawada, Majd, al-Arabiya Institute, Dar al-Adab, and al-Arab Institute while Iranian Dar an-Nashr Company represents two other Lebanese publishers with up to 700 titles on display.
Lebanese al Beit al-Ahya with 110 titles on diplay represents Dar al-Moqarakh al-Arabi while Lebanese al-Majma al-Mahdi with up to 400 titles on stalls represents Lebanese Ehya Halab publisher.
Avand Danesh publisher represents 11 other publishers from Jordan and Lebanon with some 2,546 titles on display. The Lebanese publishers represented by Avand Danesh are Dar al-Kitab al-Arabi, Dar al-Arafa, al-Rayan Institute, Maktab al-Sharqiya, Dar al-Elm al-Malayin, Academia, and Maktab at-Tofiqa while the Jordanian publishers are Dar al-Sira, Dar al-Baha, Dar al-Yarori, and Majd al-Awal.
Other Lebanese publishers on hand in the international section are Dar al-Ershad, Dar al-Rasoul with up to 450 titles on display, Dar al-Monad, representing two other Lebanese publishers (Dar al-Lewa and Moarref al-Islamiya) with up to 1,000 titles on stalls, and al-Elmiya, representing Maktab al-Lobnan, with up to 1,500 titles on stalls.
Several individual Lebanese publishers too have taken an exhibit space in the international section of the 25th TIBF. They are Dar al-Kitab with up to 1,500 titles, al-A’lami Institute with up to 700 titles, Dar al-Ehya le-Torath with up to 250 titles, Fiqh al-Shia with up to 250 titles, ad-Derasat Center with up to 400 titles, an-Nihad le-Tarbia with up to 170 titles, Monqade al-Ma’aref with up to 350 titles, and Manshourat al-Halabi with up to 100 titles.
