Prominent French publishers at hand at TIBF

Manager of the French pavilion in the 28th Tehran International Book Fair (TIBF) says the country has already been presented in the past successive 10 editions of Tehran’s landmark cultural event.
Shahram Farahani also said prominent French publishers have joined this year’s book fair, reported the TIBF press office.
The pavilion manager said over 300 French titles are on display in the pavilion on such themes as literature, children, philosophy and ancient civilizations.
Farahani went on to say that visitors to the pavilion are largely students of French language and literature, looking for their needed sources of study however there are also visitors who have an interest in French culture and wish to purchase the latest works of top French authors.
The 28th Tehran International Book Fair started work in Tehran on May 6 under the banner of ‘reading as talking to the world.’ The landmark international event runs until May 16.
