Iranian, Chinese publishers to sign agreement at TIBF

Director of Iranian Kia Literary Agency active in international scenes said that ‎after two years of negotiations, Madreseh (School) Publishing literary will sign a ‎cooperation agreement with Chinese Daylight Press.‎
Laili Ha’eri said: “The agreement will be finalized today on the second day of the 32nd Tehran International Book Fair.”
“I met the director of Daylight Publishing from China- which is engaged in a variety of cultural activities- two years ago at Beijing International Book Fair and the ground was provided for our cooperation,” she said. 
“In the Daylight Publishing, writers are collaborating with internationally acclaimed illustrators and based on our agreement, Iranian Illustrator Ali-Reza Goldouzian, a winner of Bratislava Illustration Biennale will work with a Chinese writer of children books who has won Hans Christian Andersen prize,” she added.
Tehran International Book Fair is the top Iranian book event held annually. The 32nd edition of this event is currently underway and will run by May 4 in the Mosalla of Imam Khomeini in Tehran.
