In this case, we, in cooperation with the Customs, will pre-declare so the books can be cleared faster and reach the exhibition on time.

He added “the discount cap of the physical sales section for foreign publishers in this period of the exhibition has been reduced from 30% to 15% to allow for partial compensation the costs of renting the pavilions etc. Also, in the virtual sales section of the exhibition, a 30% discount and a 20% subsidy have been considered.

In the end, Esmaeil Janalipour said: "additionally, thanks to the assistance received as also the time remaining to edit the information in the registration system and put in the information of foreign publishers, we saw an increase of about 20% in the number of books uploaded in the Tehran International Book Fair website."
