Mostafa Demir, Publishing Director of Ozan Publications, one of the eight representatives of Turkey at the Tehran International Book Fair, presented 40 book titles published by his publication in historical, religious, and cultural fields.
Demir explained the importance of holding such international cultural events in the world, that any kind of cultural connection makes nations more aware of foreign customs, culture, background, Literature, and everything about that nation, which will lead to strengthening cultural diplomacy between nations.
He also added that Iranian and Turkey have many similarities in culture, and mentioned the interest of the Turkish people in Iranian classical literature, pointing to the reputation of Shahriar in Turkey: Shahriar is as popular and well-known in Turkey as he is in Iran. He added that although Iranian customs and culture are sometimes disregarded, the rich culture of Iran reveals itself over time because it is not something to be ignored. He hopes for more cultural cooperation among nations, although the strategic path of their publications is for all human beings, not just for a particular country or nation.
He hoped that with the presence of more and more countries in this exhibition, the International Book Fair of Tehran could be more visible because the exhibition has enough space to allocate to all countries Certainly, the more countries there are, the better international cultural relations will be formed.
