Mohsen Pour Seyed Aghaei said: "Mosalla is the best option for holding the Book Fair due to its excellent access to the subway, and during the fair, empty trains can be dispatched to the Mosalla and Shahid Beheshti stations."

In an interview with the news headquarters of the 35th Tehran International Book Fair, Mohsen Pour-Seyed-Aghaei, former CEO of Tehran Municipality's Transportation and Traffic Organization, stated that Mosalla is the most suitable option for holding the Book Fair. He continued: "Public transportation connections at Mosalla are better than any other place where the Book Fair has been held so far. Locations such as the International Exhibition Center and Shahr-e-Aftab Exhibition Center do not have the conditions that Imam Khomeini Mosalla does."

He added: "Two subway stations around Imam Khomeini Mosalla make it a suitable place for holding the Book Fair. When I was in the Tehran Municipality, I suggested preventing private vehicles from accessing the fair, and parking lots around the area were closed. It was officially announced that no parking or space for private vehicles would be available around Mosalla to discourage people from coming to the Book Fair by private car."

Pour-Seyed-Aghaei emphasized the importance of using public transportation to visit the Book Fair: "When people come to the Book Fair by personal car, since the fair is located in the city center, the city's traffic increases in this area and extends to other parts of the city."

The former CEO of Tehran Municipality's Transportation and Traffic Organization added: "It is better to continue holding the Book Fair at Mosalla due to the ease of access to various public transportation options, but citizens should avoid coming to Mosalla by their car as much as possible. Personal vehicle traffic to Mosalla should be prevented, and everyone should be required to park their cars in different parts of the city and come to Mosalla by buses and vans arranged for the fair."

Pour-Seyed-Aghaei stated: "Holding the Book Fair at Mosalla, considering the public transportation from various parts of the city and increasing the capacity of the trains during the fair days, can be successful and not increase traffic in the city center."

Regarding the facilities needed by citizens during the Book Fair, he said: "In previous periods of the Book Fair, due to the coincidence of the fair's closing hours with the end of work hours and the crowded subway, empty trains were sent to Mosalla and Shahid Beheshti stations to transport citizens to the north and south destinations of the subway lines, which was satisfactory for citizens."

The former CEO of Tehran Municipality's Transportation and Traffic Organization added: "The subway management can consider special empty trains for Mosalla and the Book Fair during the 11 days of the fair to use the subway network to reduce city traffic. With these measures, better facilities can be provided for the fair's visitors."
