Tehran Book Fair is The Largest Advertising Center for Science, Poetry and Literature of Persian Speakers in the World

Mirzazadeh Ata Mirkhajeh, referring to the fact that Iran has an important place in the printing industry of Tajikistan, said: Without a doubt, the Tehran Book Fair is one of the largest centers of promotion of Iranian culture, and also the science, poetry, and literature of Persian speakers of the world. In this exhibition, it is possible to become familiar with the literary and scientific works of many countries around the world.

 

Mirzazadeh Ata Mirkhajeh, poet, writer, and first vice president of the Tajik Writers Event, in an interview with the news headquarters of the thirty-fifth international book fair in Tehran, stated that he participated in two Tehran book exhibitions in the years 2003 and 2007.

 

He mentioned attending the Tehran Book Fair in 2003 and stated that Tajikistan was a guest of the exhibition that year and he was one of the Tajikistani participants who highly attracted the audience. He also mentioned his speech on the day of Tajikistan at the opening of the exhibition, noting that at Allameh Tabatabaei University he gave a speech at the International Conference "Persian language influence in the world".

 

Mirkhajeh also noted his visit to literary and scientific works of other countries at the Tehran Book Fair and stated that he was very pleased. In addition, he encouraged reading books for children and reading new Iranian poems and stories and wished to attend the Tehran Book Fair again.

 

He expressed great satisfaction with the importance and success of the Tehran Book Fair and its impact on promoting culture. Mirkhaje also stated that Tajiks are more interested in the Tehran Book Fair than any other nation, given the shared history and close relations they have with Iran.

 

Mirza Tursunzade, a literary award winner, spoke about the Tajikistan International Book Fair in September, stating that this fair is held annually and is conducted at the National Library Square with the best economic facilities provided. He mentioned the exchange of publications between Iran and Tajikistan during the Soviet era and expressed hope for an increase in Persian-script books in Tajikistan with the signing of cooperation agreements. He also appreciated the participation of 100 Tajik cultural figures in the Tehran Book Fair and acknowledged the role of Iran's ambassador in Tajikistan and prominent poets such as Alireza Ghazveh. He expressed that this cultural exchange leads to closer cultural ties between the two countries and increases the number of exchanged books and cultures.
