Nasser Abusharif, the representative of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement in Iran, expressed his gratitude to the managers of the Tehran International Book Fair for creating a special pavilion for Palestine at the fair. He stated that the role of literature, novels, and books in the struggle against the Zionist regime is very important because a significant part of today's war is the war of narratives. The Palestinian resistance movement needs the narrative and support of writers.

According to the news headquarters of the 35th Tehran International Book Fair, Nasser Abusharif, while visiting the 35th Tehran International Book Fair, told the fair's news headquarters: "First, I would like to thank the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance for holding the Tehran International Book Fair and creating a special pavilion for Palestine. The reason for our gratitude is that the issue of Palestine is considered an important and central matter in the Islamic Republic of Iran and at the book fair."

Emphasizing that the issue of Palestine, due to the recent war, is not just an Islamic issue but a global one that the whole world is paying attention to, he continued: "The Leader of the Islamic Revolution emphasized that 'the issue of Palestine today is the issue of the conscience of humanity,' and the Palestinian pavilion at the Tehran International Book Fair was set up to show that the issue of Palestine is present in Iranian culture."

The representative of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement in Iran noted the special attention of the media and the freedom lovers to the issue of Palestine, continuing: "8,000 groups in America demonstrated in support of the people of Palestine, and these groups marched continuously for 40 weeks in London, supporting the people of Palestine. Therefore, this movement has spread in global and American universities, and of course, this position has always existed in Iran."

In response to how he sees the role of literature and books in the struggle for the freedom of the Palestinian people, Abu Sharif emphasized: "The role of literature, novels, and books in the struggle against the Zionist regime is very important because today's war is a war of narratives."

He pointed out that the narrative of the Zionist regime is widespread due to its media power, and despite the lies of the Zionists, the truth has been revealed today. He continued: "However, we need the support of books, stories, and novels to explain the Palestinian narrative. The artistic movement should expand by producing artistic works such as poetry, music, books, and visual arts to be able to present the Palestinian narrative."
