Young Artists Narrate the Book Fair

Young artists are narrating the International Book Fair for visitors.
Sarina Sorahi, the manager of the "Presence Narrative" booth, in an interview with the news headquarters of the 35th Tehran International Book Fair, stated: "The national movement of young artist narrators is ongoing at the Tehran Book Fair thanks to the cultural organization 'Presence Narrative,' with the aim of artistically narrating the country's issues. In our narratives, we address topics that have received less attention, and our approach is based on artistic narration."
She continued: "The Tehran International Book Fair is one of the significant cultural and literary events in our country. Because it is the largest cultural event in the country, we narrate it in five different thematic areas."
Sorahi mentioned that one of the activities of the young artist narrators in the "Presence Narrative" booth is introducing the history of the Book Fair to visitors. She said: "We also narrate the stability and continuity of the Tehran International Book Fair as another important topic for the visitors."
She highlighted introducing the various sections of the Book Fair as another activity of the "Presence Narrative" booth and added: "The children's and youth section receives special attention from us as it is a busy and popular area. Additionally, we focus on various sections of the Fair, and proper introduction of these sections which helps to shift the focus from a purely commercial event to one with a greater cultural impact."
The manager of the "Presence Narrative" booth referred to the international standing of the Book Fair and continued: "Among all book fairs, it can be confidently said that the Tehran International Book Fair ranks first in terms of the number of visitors. The international section of the Fair also creates good diplomatic opportunities for the country, and we explain to people the differences between our Book Fair and those in other countries."
The 35th Tehran International Book Fair, under the slogan "We Read, We Build," will be held from May 8 to May 18, 2024, at the Imam Khomeini Mosalla in person and on the ketab.ir platform.
