The cultural official said a twin missions must be carried out in marking of the Book Week; "For one thing, the week programs must extend to all corners across the country … for the other one, the relevant targets must be adapted by all governmental bodies."
Concerning role of media and news outlets in jazzing up the cultural occasion, the Chief Executive said during the book week, all media, national airwaves (IRIB) in particular, must be mobilized to promote book-related affairs.
The deputy in cultural affairs refuted that by promotion of book-related affairs he meant a promotion of cultural authorities and their activities.
