Tehran International Book Fair is indeed one of the greatest cultural events in the country.
The presence of up to 2500 domestic publishers and up to 980 foreign publishers with 200,000 Persian tittles and 170,000 foreign ones on stalls and above all over 5 million enthusiastic visitors to the 23rd Tehran International Book Fair imbued the spring of the affectionate companion with an incredible burgeon.
An auspicious staging coupled with such positive and exceptional programs as formation of working groups on book reading and other lateral gatherings and panel discussions as well as an objective utilization distribution of book purchase subsidies granted a double flourish to culture and literature.
Hereby, we appreciated a high diligence exercised by the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance and other bodies in staging of the major cultural event. We offer our gratitude and voice our readiness to follow up and resolve the problems and legal issues facing the sphere of culture and art, publication reading in particular, so as to witness a flourishing of knowledge and intellect and a genuine penmanship
