IRI authorities follow Ayatollah Khamenei's guidelines as frame of reference

TIBF chief executive described President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad as a brave, committed, and untiring man who is devoted to the doctrine of Wilaya-te Faqih.
Bahman Dorri also said that the president exercises a kind of relationship with the Islamic Revolution Leader Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei unfathomable by the customary political relations of the world today .
He was commenting on the recent false propaganda by mainstream western media that the president had suffered a schism with the I.R. Leader.
Dorri touched on the president's likening of his relationship with the I.R. Leader to that of a child and father and said that the sitting Iranian authorities proceed to follow the leader's guidelines as their frame of reference and exhaust all their possibilities to serve the people.
"We, in unison with the president, believe that Wilaya-te Faqih is the mainstay of honor, elevation, grandeur and victory of the Iranian nation," the TIBF chief executive said.
He said the popular president during the past six years of his tenure has proved that many stumbling blocks in the path could be lifted or removed through the sagacious supports of the dear Leader of the Islamic Revolution.
Deputy of Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance in cultural affairs, Dorri considered Wilaya-te Faqih as a key unifying force for the Iranian nation and said the main thrust of the Islamic System should always be safeguarded.
Wilaya-te Faqih is a system of government rooted in Islam which envisages the supervisory rule of a devout, wise and brave Alim over the social, cultural, political, and security affairs of the Muslim community.
The chief executive then touched on the 24th TIBF's motto, namely "promotion of religious knowledge and cultural insight in the year of Economic Jihad," and said the motto would be promoted by a long list of titles on such themes as history of Islam, Ashura Movement, Hijab and decency, Sacred Defense (1980-88) and modern history and history of the Islamic Revolution.
The TIBF chief said Iranian publishers seem to be increasingly focusing on the theme, especially in promoting of Islamic culture.
According to Dorri, eight thousand titles on the Sacred Defense (1980-88) against the western backed invading forces of Saddam Hussein would be on stalls across the fair in such genres as poetry, novel, wartime memoirs, and encyclopedia.
The chief executive then spoke of more than 50,000 titles on stands on various religious and cultural themes which are of interest for all academic, seminarian and scientific centers nationwide. He urged the centers to apply for the books with a view to the double goals of enhancement of the capacities of their libraries and promotion of the publishing business.
And concerning the code of decency in the cultural event, the chief executive said all the publishing entities have been notified on the mandatory Islamic code of clothing and related regulations and the code of ethics will be strictly followed throughout the fairground.
24th International Tehran Book Fair opened in Tehran on May 3 and will run until May 14.
