Dr. Naji Bakirji, the head of the Mevlâna Museum in Konya, says that there are 700 Persian manuscripts in the Mevlâna Museum of Konya, Turkey.

Books are the most important way to promote culture. 707 years after the death of Rumi, the Masnavi of Rumi has been published by Mevlâna Museum, and 10 copies of this book have been presented at the 34th Tehran International Book Fair.

He added: There are 700 manuscripts in Persian language in the Mevlâna Museum of Konya, and this museum has written a book about Mevlâna, which will be translated into Persian.

He said: Next year, the books Divan-ı Kebir of Mevlâna, Fihi Ma Fihi, and Majlis Saba' will be brought to the exhibition. Also, due to people's interest of Saadi and Hafez's books, these books will also be brought to the exhibition.

The head of Mevlâna Museum said: About 300 to 400 books have been brought to the 34th Tehran International Book Fair by the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism, which are mostly about Turkish art and culture, as well as the Seljuk era.

The 34th Tehran International Book Fair with the slogan “the future is to be read” started on the 10th of May and will continue until the 20th of May 2023 in the Mosque of Imam Khomeini and simultaneously on ketab.ir.
