Nicolai Golubieva, vice president of Zlataust Publication, said: We are consulting with Iranian publishers to expand cooperation.
Regarding the role of books in cultural diplomacy, Nicolai Golubieva, vice president of Zlataust Publication, told the news headquarter of the 34th Tehran International Book Fair: With books, we can establish more communication with neighboring countries and get to know the culture, literature, and values of a country.
He adds: We used to study the history of Iran in high school and we saw pictures of Iranian cities in our books. We traveled more than 3000 kilometers in Iran; From Shushtar Tehran and Yazd with our own eyes.
He says: We saw what we learned in school in Iran. Based on this, the book is a way that helps us get to know the culture of different nations.
Regarding the relationship with Iranian publishers, he also said: We are currently trying to negotiate with Iranian publishers regarding the publication of Russian language educational books for foreign speakers and to publish these books. I hope this cooperation will take place between the parties.
The deputy of Zlataust Publishing said: We have brought about 50 titles to the 34th Tehran International Book Fair, and we have also brought a number of other books to universities such as Tehran and Mashhad.
At the end, he adds: In Iran, work should be done in the field of Russian grammar. One of our main goals is that those who are learning Russian in educational centers in Iran have access to original educational books.
The 34th Tehran International Book Fair with the slogan “the future is to be read” started on the 10th of May and will continue until the 20th of May 2023 in the Mosque of Imam Khomeini and simultaneously on ketab.ir.
