Mohammad Mahdi Esmaeili: The international section of the thirty-fifth international book fair opens while more than 7 months have passed since the great event of Hurricane al-Aqsa and the defeat of the Zionist regime's lies and cover-up. No cultural position should be happening in the Muslim world today unless it reminds us of this great saga.

 

According to news headquarters of the thirty-fifth Tehran International Book Fair, "The Perspective of Cultural Interactions between Iran and Yemen; Today and the Future" conference and the opening day of the International Division and the Yemen Pavilion were held at the Tehran Book Fair, with the presence of the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance، Deputy of Cultural Affairs of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Head of the thirty-fifth International Book Fair of Tehran, Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Yemen, Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to Iran, Head of the Book Organization of the Republic of Yemen، and Special Advisor to the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance. The Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance in the international section of the meeting, emphasized the importance of resistance and jihad in Yemen and paying attention to the issue of Gaza and Palestine, pointing to the spirit of resistance and struggle.

 

In another part of the meeting, Mohammad Heydareh of Yemen mentioned the cultural cooperation between Iran and Yemen after the advent of Islam and the importance of cultural commonalities. He also emphasized the deep historical and cultural roots of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the importance of unity of the Iranian people. The deputy minister of culture of Yemen also pointed to Shahid Seyed Hossein Badr who followed Imam Khomeini's ideals, and the transfer of revolutionary spirit to the people of Yemen, quoting the experiences of the Islamic Revolution of Iran.

 

In continuation, Mohammad Heidareh of Yemen announced the adherence of Yemenis to the cause of Palestinian freedom as the first priority from the view of Iran and Yemen. He expressed these values as a close bond between Iran and Yemen and stated that Guardianship and Excellence ("Velayat" and "Beraat") are also important issues between the two countries. The Yemeni ambassador to Iran also announced the efforts of the enemies to destroy the morale and beliefs of Muslim communities and praised Iran for advancing Islamic ideas and values against the enemies of the Islamic nation.

 

In another part of the speech, Ibrahim al-Dilmi from Yemen emphasized the necessity of introducing Yemeni researchers and publishers to Iranians and recommended that all Iranian scholars and publishers should pay more attention to the cultural issues of Yemen, especially the life of Shahid Badr al-Din al-Houthi. 


Thirty-fifth International Book Fair of Tehran started on May, 8th. During the period of the exhibition, more than three thousand publishers and bookstores are present in two attendance and non-attendance sections and are meeting and interacting with their audience.
